G&S knew they wanted to treat their guests to a variety of food that related to their travels, life, and personal favourites. This event featured 5 different themed chef stations, surrounding the wonderful Roundhouse Community Centre, along with passed canapes, and a dessert buffet. Custom labelling was made behind each chef station to fit within the fun, elegant theme G&S came up with!

What a party!


From the minute we started wedding planning, it was a priority that our wedding was fun with an abundance of delectable food and drinks. From the Savoury Chef website we knew they had the style and inspiring menu that we were looking for, but when we met Chef Taryn and Kyle at the first tasting, we knew they were “the one.” We couldn’t have asked for a better combination with Chef Taryn’s creative and delicious food and Kyle’s organization and incredible wealth of knowledge… and the fact that they are just great people.

They provided fantastic insight from creating our perfect menu, to the rentals, to the bar and so much more. Kyle was our main contact and he was so responsive and straightforward and made the wedding planning process that much easier for us, especially since we were doing the planning from Toronto. Not only was the food amazing but it’s the little stuff that we appreciated like tweaking the signature drink recipes until they were perfect to saving us food from all the chef stations while we were busy catching up with guests. We felt that they were genuinely excited and cared for our big day.

Our family and friends loved the food and to this day, we still can’t pinpoint what our favorite dish was, there were just too many! It was an incredible wedding and the team at Savoury Chef had so much to do with that. Thank you Chef Taryn, Kyle and the Savoury Chef Team!

I can’t say enough about what an absolute pleasure it was to work with Savoury Chef on Grace and Sam’s wedding. During the planning stages, their staff were an indispensable resource for the bride and groom, providing timely, informative, and helpful responses to every request that was made of him. Meanwhile, Chef Taryn crafted a menu that perfectly reflected Grace and Sam’s personalities and brought together a variety of flavours from around the world in a cohesive and mind-blowingly delicious meal!

On the wedding day, the Savoury Chef team arrived withenergy and enthusiasm and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They were organized and efficient at setting up their kitchen and chefs’ stations, all the while being eager to assist me in any way they could. Every server, bartender, chef, and supervisor onsite that day was knowledgeable, hard working, and enthusiastic. Not only did this make my job much easier, but it also created an environment in which Grace and Sam’s guests immediately felt comfortable and ready to enjoy a great evening.

…And what better way to enjoy a great evening than with an abundance of amazing food! Reading over the menu for Grace and Sam’s wedding brings back mouth-watering memories of an absolutely outstanding meal. I cannot wait to work with Savoury Chef again, and will enthusiastically recommend them to my future clients.
