The Permanent is a select heritage event venue available for private event bookings. The space is ideal for weddings, corporate cocktail and gala events, trade shows, conferences, and private parties. The venue is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver near the Waterfront and Stadium Skytrain Stations. There is also ample parking close by and hotel accommodations next door at the Victorian Hotel.
Named after the BC Permanent & Loan Company, which opened it’s doors in 1907, The Permanent has been completely renovated and restored to it’s historic glory. In 1935, the Bank of Canada called this venue home. We have kept the original vault door and many other neo- classical elements making this venue extremely unique. With state of the art equipment, original stained glass, crystal details through out, and a 16 foot heritage bar, The Permanent is the perfect place for any celebration.

How to Book
In order for your event to be considered confirmed, a signed contract must be returned to Max Cohen, along with your full rental payment and a 50% damage deposit. Both must be received within 7 days of the date on the contract, or we will release the date. We will not place holds on the space. The Permanent accepts payments by certified cheque or bank draft payable to 330 West Pender LP.
