Savoury Chef Artist Series
The lower mainland is filled with talented local artists, who work tirelessly for their art. At Savoury Chef we believe in supporting the arts, and our local community. The following is a small list of artists we have worked with, and accompanying art.
Tierney Milne is a Montreal-born designer and illustrator currently living in Vancouver, Canada.
Her studies in Psychology (BA, UBC) and lllustration/Design (IDEA Program) inspire her to breakdown the complexities of our inner and outer landscapes and reassemble them in colourful and highly imaginative ways. When not illustrating commercially or working as a digital designer for lululemon athletica, Tierney pursues her own artwork and book projects.
Luke Ramsey co-founded the Islands Fold residency, exhibits internationally and works as a muralist and freelance illustrator. His client list includes The New York Times, The Drake Hotel, and Patagonia.
His collaborative mural with Josh Holinaty won a National Urban Design Medal from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. His book Intelligent Sentient? is published by Drawn & Quarterly, and was nominated for a Doug Wright Award. Luke currently lives on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
Ali Bruce is an artist working in East Vanc, and living on the west coast. She enjoyed adventures of many kinds, even more so if it involves a mountain or can be found on a bike. Ali believes in drawing every single day. She has a BFA from Emily Carr an is currently pursuing communication design.
Katie So is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Vancouver, BC
Her work has been featured in the Huffington Post, booooooom.com, Room Magazine, Absolute Magazine, Applied Arts Magazine, and numerous blogs around the world.
Her clients include Timbre Concerts, CBC, Vancouver Opera, Arts Club Theatre, Vancouver Fringe Festival, DDB Canada, Canadian Tourism Commission, Ronald McDonald House, and Savoury Chef.
Brett Beadle is a motorcycle enthusiast and photographer living in Vancouver, BC.
