Howe Street Gallery of Fine Art

We are a local, high-end Vancouver Fine art gallery that houses International and Canadian painters and sculptors, many of which are members of the Federation of Canadian artists. The gallery also houses a collection of contemporary abstract and realist sculpture from Zimbabwe in a variety of different — and oftentimes rare — stones, for example verdite (3.5 million year old stone found in only one quarry in the world). Our unique gallery offers a beautiful backdrop that will spark unlimited conversation.

Our agenda is to host high-end groups for wine and cheese parties, cocktail parties, business meetings or special events. The gallery has hosted many events in the past and we plan to become the most popular art gallery venue in Vancouver for high-end, low budget gatherings. In terms of size, the gallery is approximately 1800 sqft. We are able to host approximately 70 – 80 people standing, we can also bring in extra furniture for sitting areas. There is no kitchen available, however, we do have a sink, microwave, and a miniature fridge if required. We have a back room which, depending on size, may be able to hold your necessary equipment. And of course, we have a washroom available. In terms of cost, it would depend on the group, however cost is not a big factor where we are concerned, we are more interested in bringing high-end people into the gallery than making money off entrance fees.

Our hours are generally 10am – 6pm, 7 days a week. However, we have no problem extending our hours to host an event.
