“I want to thank you for such a marvelous cocktail and wedding reception on Saturday! Every single aspect of it was absolutely perfect!!! First of all, the service. Everybody was so professional and nice! They were efficient and always refilled glasses and were helpful in whatever way they could. Second, the FOOD!!!!!!!! Oh My God! Everybody just raved about the food. My brother in law (who is quite hard to please with food I must say) kept asking me were the undercooked chicken and the overcooked salmon that you see at weddings were. He kept telling me how delicious the fish was. My friend who is in culinary school kept asking your staff about recipes!!! It was fantastic, exquisite! And than, the decoration. Everything looked gorgeous. I wouldn’t have dreamt of a better set up. But most of all, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the whole time. Everything ran so smoothly, I couldn’t believe it.

I attended a cocktail party and sampled some canapés prepared by Savoury Chef at a Northwest Territories Tourism Event with my colleagues from Outside the Cube sometime last year. After tasting the delicious appetizers the staff were serving, we couldn’t leave the building without the contact info for the catering company hosting the event. As we were contracted to do events & marketing for Canada’s Northern House (Vancouver 2010 Olympic Pavilion), we began to use them for all of our events throughout the games.

Given their patience, reliable nature, flexibility and ability to adapt to client needs, we have hired them whenever possible for everything from Bannock and Tea for hundreds of people at events open to the public, to private, high-class, elegant parties and fashion shows. As you are probably aware, the appies and the signature drink were a real hit. The Miso Black Cod and Prime Rib were excellent, as with everything else on the menu. The attention to detail was amazing, from green tea cookies to match the bridesmaids dresses to raspberries atop the petite fours to match the bouquets. It’s a good thing we chose a cocktail style reception and allowed guests unlimited access to the food. I believe there would have been riots otherwise!

SCF was most definitely the right choice to complement our other superb wedding vendors. All of the staff were professional, capable, charming and fun. I wouldn’t even think of using another caterer now that I have found SCF. If you are looking for quality food served with class and beauty, look no further.
