Chapel Arts

Vancouver’s newest and most unique venue/gallery is found in the notorious Downtown Eastside at 304 Dunlevy Avenue.

A former chapel and funeral home in the Art Deco style has been transformed into a prime multi-use event space. An elegant interior boasts grand parlours, a private billiards room, galleries and a main room featuring a performance stage with house sound and lights. The space can easily transform to meet the needs of any event.

Available for private and corporate parties, music, theatre, art and dance performances, fundraisers, theatre rehearsals, recordings, workshops, photography, film and video production, fashion shows, weddings and maybe even memorials.

Harrison Galleries is an upscale fine art gallery, one of the oldest in Canada, representing the art of renowned regional and internationally recognized artists. We carry an extensive collection of traditional and contemporary paintings.

The gallery occupies the entire main floor of a 3 storey all-brick heritage building and is laid out as follows:
The gallery is an open concept with two distinct areas which total 4,500 sq. ft.
The western portion has an entrance on Smithe Street – this entrance provides access for handicapped guests.
There is free movement between the two sections of the gallery, we have the ability to configure two distinct areas when necessary by blocking access to one side or the other.
A number of “movable walls” are available to configure the floor space for special purposes.
Original art will be on display, we will work with your client to determine the selection of paintings tailored to the event.

Diane Ferris Gallery

Founded in 1984, the Diane Farris Gallery has developed into an internationally recognized showcase for contemporary Canadian and international art. We are especially noted for finding and establishing new talent.

The gallery serves the corporate and private collecting sector. We endeavour to draw in and include those who are new to the contemporary art scene, as well as knowledgeable collectors.

The Gallery, fronted by its spacious Sculpture Courtyard, is located in the heart of Vancouver’s “South Granville Gallery Row”.

Jacana Contemporary Art Gallery

Located in Vancouver’s South Granville neighborhood, this two-storey gallery offers a backdrop of abstract and eccentric artwork. The gallery offers a choice between two exhibition spaces. The first floor provides ample space for an 80-person reception or 40-person sit-down er. If you require additional space, extend your cocktail party to the second floor as it can accommodate an extra 40-45 people.

Burnaby Art Gallery

Burnaby Art Gallery is dedicated to presenting a variety of exhibitions and events in the galleries of the Burnaby Art Gallery and throughout the community. Services include educational programs for children, adults and seniors, community projects and exhibitions in schools, recreation facilities and community centres.

Lively school programs enhance and support the exhibitions in order to develop visual and cultural literacy within our community. Public programs are also designed to enrich the experience of the visitor as it relates to each exhibition. Talks and workshops are held in conjunction with some of the exhibitions, with artists and invited guests discussing issues surrounding the subject of the artworks.

Elliott Louis Gallery

The Elliott Louis Gallery is located one and a half blocks off Main Street at First avenue in Vancouver’s newest transition area. The area, known for it’s warehouse and light industrial use is fast becoming the equivalent of Vancouver’s SOHO district.

The Gallery encompasses 3,600 square feet of newly re-furbished and renovated ex-warehouse space that has been specifically designed to accommodate special event usage. Its significant showcase of contemporary art is an excellent compliment to any client who wishes to produce an “extra” special event.
