Baker/Pastry Chef – Full Time Position

Savoury Chef Foods is a high end boutique catering company. Our number one priority is putting out amazing food and we focus on using local products whenever possible. We strive to offer a fine dining experience at catered events. To do so we greatly require a strong pastry lead in our catering kitchen to achieve these results!

Does this interest you? We are currently looking for a full time permanent Pastry Chef/Baker.

Pastry Chef/Baker

* Responsible for baking and assembling fine pastries (tarts, petits fours, mousse cakes, cheesecakes etc) for event catering.
* Responsible for production of scones, cookies, sweets for our corporate and commissary line
* Attention to detail is a must.
* A passion for creating the most delicious sweets we will ever taste
* Early morning shifts from Tuesday to Saturday (7am-3pm) – Can discuss in more detail.

Your Qualifications:

* food safe level one
* drivers license with clean driving record
* some fine dining experience is an asset
* catering experience is preferred

Your attributes:

* work clean and efficiently
* be extremely organized
* be presentable
* have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
* can lift 30 lbs or more
* can help out with other items when needed
* a zest for life and a passion for producing quality pastries and sweets!

Pay is dependent on experience.
