Born and raised in Kelowna, B.C., Shane began his culinary apprenticeship at the young age of 15 before continuing on to complete his ITA Cook Training at Okanagan College. After stints at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and the Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, he honed his skills at a number of leading wineries throughout the Okanagan, including Cedar Creek, Lake Breeze and Quails Gate. Moving West to Vancouver, Shane served as saucier at the beloved Tableau Bar Bistro.
Shane began as Sous Chef of Savoury Chef Foods, and proved his way to a Chef De Cuisine position. Shane is an integral part of the team, bringing his innate talent for maintaining a high level of quality under pressure, as well as his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft.
